At the airport
To protect yourself and others from COVID-19 we endorse Ministry of Health guidelines:
- Wash your hands several times a day
- Sneeze and cough into your elbow
- Keep track of where you've been and who you've seen to help contact tracing if you need it. The NZ COVID Tracer app is a handy way to do this
- Be kind to others
- Be kind to yourself.
You may see cleaners working around the airport terminal, cleaning and disinfecting areas which get a lot of use.
You will find hand sanitiser units near the toilet blocks.
A mask or face covering only needs to be worn on flights to and from Auckland. That means there’s no need to wear a mask in this airport. If you’re unsure whether you need to wear a mask on your flight, please ask the airline staff as you check in.
